What happened to the Royal Wedding Fascinator? 27/06/2011

I've had a few questions asking whatever happened to the Union Jack Fascinator that I made to wear for the Royal Wedding back in April this year.

Did I wear it in the end?

Of Couse!!

I went to a Charity 'Ladies Day' at The Kinder Lodge, Derbyshire.  We were raising money for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust (http://www.cftrust.org.uk/) a charity very close to my heart.
We started the day with bacon butties, and later on to soak up the champagne, the most elaborate Afternoon Tea I have ever seen.

The Pimms, Sangria and Champagne flowed freely, which got us all in the mood for the charity auction.  Lots of squawking and bidding meant lots of fun, and lots of money raised.

Little baby Cailin, the youngest of the ladies that day, was keen to show her support.  With no hair in which to wear a fascinator, she took to waving the flag instead.

What a fantastic day.

It was indeed a fascinatingly fab day!! Your fascinators, as always, pretty much stole the show! xx
